For those who don’t know what those “JA” stickers they see everywhere are all about, it was started in the late 60s by the legendary editor of Drag Times, Jack Redd. Jack was one of those guys who was responsible for bringing news from the track back to all the fans who couldn’t be there themselves. Back then, it seemed like everything was either NASCAR approved or AAA approved, so Jack thought it would be fun to make things “Jack Approved.” Fast forward to today and you’ll find those JA stickers on cars all over the world and they’ve even been in outer space! And now here at DF Motorsports Magazine! If you run across Jack Redd in your travels, ask him how you can join the club and be JACK APPROVED!!
